Privacy Policy

Effective August 14, 2026 ยท Last updated August 14, 2026

HuntHub LLC operates HuntHub, a private management application for hunting camps, clubs, and lodges. This policy explains what information the application collects, how that information is used and protected, and the choices available to you. Your campโ€™s information belongs to your camp: we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we disclose it only to the service providers required to operate the application.

Who we are

HuntHub is operated by HuntHub LLC, Mississippi, USA. Questions about this policy or your information: bmartin@hunthub.pro.

What we collect

InformationWhy we have it
Name and emailTo create your sign-in, show who you are to your camp, and send account email.
PasswordStored only as a secure one-way hash by our authentication provider. We never see it.
Camp membership and roleTo put you in the right camp and know whether you're an admin.
Location (GPS)Only when you check into a stand or check off a geofenced work-day task, to record where you are and confirm you're on the property. HuntHub does not track your location in the background and does not follow you when the app is closed.
Photos you uploadTrail cam pictures, camp photos, and harvest photos you choose to post to your camp.
Things you postChat messages, announcements, votes, RSVPs, work-day sign-ups, harvest logs, and stand reservations.
ComplaintsSubmitted anonymously โ€” your name is not stored with a complaint, and admins can't see who filed it.
Reports and blocksWhen you report content, we record what was reported and your display name so your admins can act on it. Blocks are stored so we know whose posts to hide from you.
Dues recordsWhat your camp records as owed and paid, kept for your camp's bookkeeping.
Push notification registrationA device token so alerts can reach your phone. Turn alerts off anytime in Account.
Payment informationHandled entirely by Stripe. HuntHub never sees or stores your card number. We keep only the subscription status and Stripe's customer ID so we know your account is active.
Basic technical logsStandard server logs (IP address, timestamps, errors) kept by our hosting and database providers for security and troubleshooting.

What we don't do

Who can see what

Your camp is a private space. What you post โ€” check-ins, chat, photos, harvests, RSVPs โ€” is visible to members of your camp. Camp admins can see additional camp management information such as dues records, member lists, and reported content. Nobody outside your camp can see your camp's information, and camps cannot see each other.

As the operator, I can access data when it's necessary to run the service โ€” fixing a bug, restoring something that broke, responding to your support request, or investigating abuse. I don't read camp chat for fun.

Service providers

HuntHub runs on a small number of providers who process information on our behalf, under their own security obligations:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. Camp records like harvest logs, dues history, and work-day credit are part of your camp's shared history and stay with the camp under your display name, even after you leave โ€” the same way a name stays in a camp logbook. Backups roll off on a normal schedule.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, in the app: Account โ†’ Delete my account. That permanently removes your sign-in, your camp membership, your subscription record, your saved blocks, and your push registrations. Camp activity records remain under your display name as described above.

If you own a camp, contact bmartin@hunthub.pro first so the camp can be transferred to another admin or closed โ€” otherwise deleting your account would strand your members.

Your choices and rights

Security

Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and every camp's data is walled off at the database level so one camp can't read another's. No system is perfect, but HuntHub is built so that a mistake in one camp can't spill into the next one.

Children

HuntHub is designed for adults running a hunting camp and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. Younger hunters should be included through a parent or guardian's account rather than their own. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll remove it.

Where information is handled

HuntHub is operated from the United States, and information is stored and processed there. If you use HuntHub from outside the U.S., you're sending your information to the U.S.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and post a notice in the app. Continuing to use HuntHub after a change means the updated policy applies.
